4 Week Media Hairdressing

Media Hairdressing | 5-Week Course

This course offers intensive training in all skills relevant to media hairdressing.

Media hairdressing is not to be confused with salon hairdressing. You will learn how to style and dress hair for the camera.

It is considered to be 50% of your skill base and is an essential skill of all make-up artists. Hair and make-up go hand in hand. Gone are the days when separate make-up and hair artist were employed on jobs. People who train only in make-up will get little or no work, as their skills and abilities are limited.

This course will take you from basic hair techniques, through creative fashion looks, styling and dressing hair for the camera, through to fantasy/futuristic creations to wig work and intricate period styles and finally basic cutting. You will leave this course with the confidence and skills to achieve any style desired.
