Prosthetics Studio

The prosthetic studio is unlike many others in schools and colleges, as this studio is actually an active prosthetic workshop.

This means that prosthetic effects are constantly being designed and created on site for current and forthcoming TV and film productions. Whilst attending your course you will not only be training in this real life industry environment but may get the opportunity to be involved with projects for future TV & film productions. Many of our ex graduates were involved in the making of prosthetics for programmes such as the BBC’s medical drama “Bodies” which won a “Royal Television Award” for most outstanding prosthetic make-up and also the recent “Doctor Who”, winner of a “Bafta” award for best make-up and “Hyperdrive”, "Wire In The Blood" (2007) and "Cold Blood" (2007).

This busy environment will give you a true working representation of the industry by working with the most up to date materials, equipment and techniques, taught by award-winning experts.
