TutorsThe team at the School has a real family feel. Our tutors all have successful careers and are well known and respected within their professions. All the tutors still work in the industry, mainly as Make-Up Designers. We feel that this is hugely important, as it means that their skills and experience are up to date and their status remains successful. This is also a guarantee to each of our graduates as we all have active careers and reputations to sustain; your success is our success. It also means that we can occasionally take our students on jobs for work experience. Our tutors are some of the top in their fields. Elaine Jones, the School's principal, recently featured on Chanel 4's “How to look good Naked” 2008 series, as one of industry’s leading experts. Elaine and the School have also been featured in the Channel 4, 1999 series “Supporting Acts” also Vogue, Glamour, War Paint and Salon Today magazines. Davy Jones, the School's prosthetic tutor has been awarded an “Emmy”, “Bafta” and “Royal Television Award” for his work as a make-up artist with the TV and film industry. |
