Elaine, the School’s principal and student mentor, trained privately as a make-up artist in 1992 and is also a qualified and experienced lecturer. Elaine has vast experience as a freelance make-up artist in fashion/editorial make-up, music videos, TV, film and prosthetics make-up.

She has high respect as a make-up artist and has worked on the faces of Catherine Zeta Jones, Natalie Imbruglia, Joanna Lumley, The Prodigy, David Beckham, Jason Donovan, Maroon 5, Kate Winslet and Kate Moss.

Elaine recently featured on Chanel 4's “How to look good Naked” 2008 series, as one of industry’s leading experts. Elaine and the School have also been featured in the Channel 4, 1999 series “Supporting Acts” also Vogue, Glamour, War Paint and Salon Today magazines.
